Our Team
Santa Cruz is an island in the Galapagos National Park of Ecuador, known for its white sandy beaches such as Playa El Garrapatero and Tortuga Bay. The town of Puerto Ayora is the tourist hub of the archipelago. Here, the Charles Darwin Research Station has a breeding programme for the endangered giant tortoises, which live in a wild environment in the El Chato Reserve.
The first most inhabited island in the Galapagos, it is located in the centre of the Galapagos archipelago, 1000 km from the mainland. It is located in the centre of the group of islands, with an area of 986 km2 and a maximum altitude of 864 metres above sea level.
